Birthday Celebrations and A Visit to Fort Mill

Tuesday, June 16 was my daddy's birthday and Wednesday, June 17 was mine. I missed his bday by an hour and 58 minutes the day I was born. They like to say that I missed it because I wanted to have my own day. I think they're right because I LOVE my birthday. I also love celebrating my bday with daddy. It's our special thing. :) My parents have always done everything to make my birthday super special and it means the world to me. They still go above and beyond to make it special, and so does my Matty. I am glad that he knows and appreciates how much I love my birthday. Here are some pics of our celebrations.

My annual bday breakfast Matt makes me: chocolate chip pancakes. YUM!

I love my parents!

Thursday, June 18, Cadence and I headed to Fort Mill to see my best friend, Meghan and her two little boys. Grey is 2 and Tucker is 3 weeks. We had yet to meet Tucker so we were so excited to meet him and to play with Grey. Mag has been my best friend since the 4th grade and it was a pure blessing to get to spend the day with her and her two awesome boys. Cadence will have a hard time deciding which Cavin boy to have a crush on. They are both amazing! :)

We Love The Pool!

Our new favorite past time is hanging out at the pool. When Matt gets home from work, we usually load up on the golfcart and head to the pool. We've gone two Saturdays in a row, and Cady and I went yesterday by ourselves. She loves the pool. She hangs out under her sunshade, she swims with mommy and she takes great naps. I gotta admit, being a stay at home mommy during the summer has proven itself to be extremely exciting and fun. I feel so guilty laying out by the pool while Matt works to provide for us. However, he knows I work hard and he is glad I can hang out with Cadence at the pool. It's not ALL relaxing when we're there anyway. :) I still gotta change poopies and pee-pee's, feed her, bounce her to sleep and check on her constantly to make sure she's happy and not busting her head open on the concrete. I love my life! Here are some pics from the last few times at the pool. I will post more when we take more.
