Celebrating, Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Patch, 3rd Birthday and A Happy Halloween!

Catching up with quite a few events:

I took cupcakes to Cady's school the week of her birthday and we celebrated with her friends.  When I walked in she was leading the class in the Pledge of Allegiance.  So cute!

Our family always carves a pumpkin every year.  Okay, Matt, always carves a pumpkin every year and does an amazing job.  This year Cady requested Tinkerbell and Matt did NOT disappoint.  Emily slept through the festivities, while Cadence attempted to help and I took a few pictures.  :)

Next event:  Pumpkin Patch with MMO.  Cadence had a wonderful time going to the pumpkin patch with her class.  We went to Stewart's Farm and rode a hayride, picked a pumpkin, petted some animals and walked through the corn maze.  We had a lot of fun and are so blessed with such a great MMO family!

Cadence had a wonderful 3rd birthday!  We are all about traditions in the Ivester household, and Cady's birthday certainly did not lack any.  Matt was able to take her birthday off (Friday the 28th of October) so we were able to sleep in later than normal and lay in the bed cuddling our 3 year old the morning of her bday.  She came downstairs to find her dollhouse all set up in her playroom.  She was so excited.  Her exact words were, "Ah a dollhouse!  THANK YOU!"  So sweet and such a thankful heart.  She also got a Strawberry Shortcake dvd and a Carebear dvd.  She was pumped.  :)  After presents, we headed back upstairs to get showered and ready for our fun day before little Miss Em woke up.  After Emily woke up and we were all dressed, we came downstairs and Matt made her her annual (and mine) birthday breakfast:  Chocolate Chip Pancakes...AMAZING!  She tore those up (so did I haha) and then we headed out with Mimi and cousin, Crosby to The Children's Museum.  We usually take Cadence to the zoo the day of her birthday, but it was cold and rainy so we switched it up a bit.  Cady and Crosby had A BLAST!  Emily was a trooper and slept most of the time.  After the museum we met Papa, BeBe, Poppy and Kaya at Anita's (our favorite family restaurant) for a birthday lunch.  Next, we came home and napped, and then let Cady pick what she wanted to do that evening.  Her choice:  Chuck E Cheese's.  So, our little family of four loaded up and had a blast at Chuck E Cheese's.  What a great birthday she had!

The next day was her birthday party at GiggleBugs.  We had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends.  Cadence is so blessed to be loved by so many people.  We are truly thankful for our great family and friends.

Next up:  Halloween.  We had a blast trick or treating with our great friends/neighbors.  We headed over to The Ritzman's for dinner and then all headed out together.  By the end of the night Cady was so tired and ill she layed down in the middle of the street (don't worry, I have a picture).  We went back to The Ritzman's, sorted our candy, and had a jam-up  dance party.  Best.Halloween.EVER!  Enjoy our pictures. :)

Love her!
