Ivester Family Photos

Amber Dixon Photography took some family pics of us a few weeks ago.  I wanted some 3 year pics of Cadybug and 3 month pics of Em, as well as some family pics.  I am soooooo happy with how they turned out.  By the end of the photo session the girls were done-for.  I am proud of how they did.  :)  Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.



Happy 3rd Birthday to My CadyBug!!!!

Dear Cadence,

I cannot believe that 3 years has passed since I first held you in my arms.  My goodness what joy you have brought into our lives these past three years.  You are truly the most tenderhearted, lovable, compassionate, fun-loving, silly, full of personality, JOYFUL little girl in the world.  You are such a blessing from the Lord and we are tremendously thankful that He chose us to be your parents.  You always know just what to say and do to make me smile and belly laugh.  I love to cuddle you, watch "toons" with you, have dance parties with you, have tea parties with you, and everything else under the sun with you.  You truly LOVE life and embrace it with all that you are.  I have so much fun with you and you really know how to have a good time!  You are such a wonderful big sister to Emily.  You always love her, give her your "yah yah" and try to make her smile and laugh.  Thank you for always being mommy's big helper.  You are such a big girl and you are so beautiful.  Promise me that we will always be best buddies.  :)  Happy 3rd birthday to you, my sweet girl.  I look forward to many more birthdays with you.

Skytop Orchard

Last Sunday we went to Skytop Orchard in Flat Rock, NC with Matt's family.  We go every year and every year we have a great time.  This year was EXTREMELY crowded, but we had fun nonetheless.  Cadence was a little under the weather and was extra cuddly (I love cuddles), but she still loved the pumpkins, the hayride, and running around the orchard.  Her favorite thing was the little pumpkin she picked out.  She carried it around all day and still carries it around our house.  We didn't actually pick apples because we got busy having fun doing other things, but we did buy some apples.  Emily did awesome too!  Right before we stepped on the hayride, sweet girl had a BLOWOUT that went through her outfit and through her blanket.  Thanks to the help of BeBe, we managed to change her, clean her up and load up for the hayride just in time.  Here are some pics of our fun day.  We can't wait until next year!  :)
